Goffredo Gaeta
Sacred art in Bologna Rastignano
The volume collects the numerous works of art, once again deployed with various different techniques by Maestro Goffredo Gaeta in a sacred structure in our country. This is the new parish church of Santi Pietro e Girolamo in Rastignano di Bologna. The Maestro expresses himself with the creativity that is universally recognised through the marble altar and lectern, the bronze door dedicated to St. Peter and his famous stained-glass windows constructed, with a very personal technique, on shatterproof glass and large one-piece surfaces.
The book, bound with a dust jacket, is fully illustrated in four-colour illustrations to show the richness and variety of the last works of the recently deceased Maestro from Faenza.

Goffredo Gaeta
Sacred art in Rimini
This volume, entirely in colour, illustrates in great detail the works of the Maestro Goffredo Gaeta from Faenza, recently realised for the church Santa Maria Mater Ecclesiae in Rimini: the large stained-glass windows, 4 mounted at an angle on a single piece of glass and 4.20 metres high, depicting Melchizedek King of Salem, The Sacrifice of Isaac, The Baptism of Jesus, The Transfiguration; the tympanum of the entrance portal, a bas-relief in majolica measuring 413 cm x 105 cm; the large work placed in the apse of the church, a 48 square metre majolica bas-relief, depicting Bishop Emilio Biancheri in the act of presenting the church project as a gift to the Virgin Mary; and then ceramics, bronzes and other works of art accompanying the sacred building.
